The dining room has a large stone fireplace and an adjoining fitted kitchen with a back storage room in one of the turrets, currently used as a pantry.

Off the entrance hall there is a downstairs WC and cloakroom. Through the library with oak panelling and bookcases all around, you reach the very large salon with panelling. These two rooms with windows looking onto the park with mature trees constitute a really impressive reception area. Off the salon there is a storage /safe room in the other turret accessed through a high security door.

Juniper Cottage - Cottage 4 – Lovely, large 2 bedroom cottage above cellar, which is used as a utility room/ strorage. Sleeps 4 persons. This cottage has a wood burning stove in the lounge and centrally heated throughout. Full modern facilities.

The power supply to the house and gîtes have been divided into three supplies : One for the main house, the second for two gîtes and the third for the two other gîtes.

Under the gîtes there are two beautiful large vaulted cellars, one of which can take up to 3,000 bottles of wine and another cellar which houses the central heating boiler for two of the gites.

There is also a large barn which used to be for the press during wine making. It is at present used as a garage but could be renovated to make further gîtes, subject to approval.

Behind this barn and to the side of the Château, there is a very unusual ‘above ground cellar’, one of the few remaining in the area, although its high vaulted stone roof has unfortunately been allowed to partly collapse.

From the garden laid as a park with mature trees and shrubs you can view the whole valley, rolling hills and vineyards all around. There are a number of fruit trees in the park, including apples, pears and cherries. There is a small pond area, which has been covered and an old water pump). There is also a potager (vegetable garden, small herb garden) and a stone gardener’s cottage for storage of tools etc.
